‘Dreaming In English’ is the third offering of Michael McCartney's 4 part EP series. Considered the 'Pop' release of the series, it's his most ambitious musically and thematically, with two new offerings, ‘If Only’ - a trumpet fuelled Mark Ronson-esque tune, and the title track ‘Dreaming In English’, a rich sound scape lathered in baritone vocals.

With some wins under his belt, including a national sync with Subaru in the US for his track ‘Sweet Side Of Love’ and high rotation for ‘Too Long’ on Double J off his previous two EP’s, McCartney has been sought after as a producer, and took a break from his original release schedule. This has included work for San Mei, James Johnston, Darren Middleton (Powderfinger) and Darcy Doe, to name a few. 

The remainder of this EP were penned some years ago, but they we’re only completed in 2020, with mixing help from Konstantin Kersting (Jungle Giants, Tones & I) on ‘If Only’ and synth layerings from Ian Peres (Golding, Xavier Rudd) on ‘Dreaming In English’.

‘Dreaming in English’ is out in the world from Friday, September 17th.
